Profile

Ms. Takako Ito is a Japanese patent attorney with expertise in telecommunications, computer software, and electronics. She earned her bachelor’s degree from the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Tokyo and her Juris Master degree from East China University of Political Science and Law.

Before becoming a patent attorney, Ms. Ito worked as an engineer at Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation (NTT) for six years, gaining valuable technical experience. She then joined several prominent patent law firms in Japan, including Yuasa and Hara, where she worked for five years, and TMI Associates, where she spent three years.

Currently, Ms. Ito focuses her practice on patent and trademark prosecution, as well as litigation matters. She is an active member of the Japan Patent Attorneys Association (JPAA).
