Ninth IP5 Heads Meeting for Cooperation held in Japan (Jun-2016)

On June 2, the Ninth IP5 Heads Meeting in Tokyo, Japan.

At the meeting, the heads of the IP5 Offices agreed on the IP5 Joint Statement for Cooperation in Tokyo 2016, reiterating the cooperation concept for “providing better service to users and the public” proposed in “Suzhou Consensus” in 2015, establishing three major initiatives as future directions for IP5 cooperation: 1) enhancing relations with users; 2) continuing to provide high-quality and reliable examination results; and 3) exploring to respond to emerging technologies (Source: China Intellectual Property News).
