1.74 Million Trademark Applications and 1.52 Million Trademark Registrations in the First Half Year in China (Aug-2016)

According to the Trademark Office of China, the trademark applications exceeded 1.74 million, and trademark registrations were 1.52 million in the first half of 2016, wherein the applications grew 32.3% over the same period of last year, the annual applications are expected to reach 3.5 million. The trademark applications in China have continuously ranked No. 1 in the world in 14 years since 2002.
